About KIDIKIA
KIDIKIA is a conversation-first learning space for children aged 2 to 14. Children talk with IKI, a friendly fox companion, play creative activities, and explore topics at their own pace. Parents keep a clear view of what happens.
Why we built it
General-purpose AI assistants were never designed for a seven-year-old. They assume an adult reader, an adult vocabulary and an adult tolerance for wrong answers. Children deserve something built for them from the first line of code.
KIDIKIA started in 2024 inside Tokkun Studio, a small independent team. The starting question was simple: what would an AI companion look like if the child's wellbeing, not engagement time, were the metric that mattered?
How KIDIKIA works
A child opens a conversation with IKI and talks — by text or voice. IKI answers in short, age-appropriate language, asks questions back, and suggests activities: drawing, music, puzzles, memory games, short curated videos.
There are no grades, no tests and no school vocabulary. Progress is expressed as quests and discoveries, which fits families practising homeschooling, unschooling or instruction en famille (IEF).
Parents get a dashboard summarising activity, time spent and topics explored, and can manage each child profile independently.
What we do not do
No advertising. No ad tracking of children. No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers. No infinite autoplay designed to keep a child in front of a screen.
KIDIKIA is a paid product precisely so that children are not the product. The free tier exists to let families try before paying, not to monetise attention.
Where we are going
The roadmap is driven by families who use the product daily: better parent reporting, more languages, richer creative activities, and clearer safety documentation. If you want to influence it, write to us.
