Parents and safety
KIDIKIA is used by children, so this page states plainly what the product does, what it refuses to do, which data exists and how you remove it. If anything here is unclear, contact us — that is a bug on our side.
What the AI companion will not do
It does not produce sexual, violent or self-harm content, and it does not roleplay romantic relationships with a child.
It does not give medical, legal or psychological advice; it redirects the child to a trusted adult.
It does not ask a child for their address, school, phone number or photographs, and it does not encourage meeting anyone offline.
It does not claim to be a human being. IKI is presented to the child as a friendly character powered by a computer.
No filtering is perfect. We combine provider-level safety systems with our own instructions and blocked-topic rules, and we ask parents to report anything that slips through so we can fix it.
Parental controls
Each child has their own profile, with its own history and progress. The parent dashboard shows session time, activities used and conversation topics.
Daily message limits apply on the free tier and can be used as a natural screen-time boundary. Video content is curated, without autoplay chains or recommendation loops.
Data we keep
Account: a parent email address and, for each child, a first name or nickname and an age range. We do not require a real surname, an address or a photo.
Usage: conversation history and activity progress, so the experience is continuous from one session to the next.
We do not run advertising trackers on children's screens and we do not sell or rent personal data. Analytics are aggregated and used to fix the product.
Deleting an account or a child profile
A child profile can be deleted from the parent dashboard, which removes its conversation history and progress. To delete the whole family account and all associated data, email privacy@kidikia.com from the parent address; we process the request within 30 days.
Reporting a problem
Inappropriate content, a bug, or a security issue: write to safety@kidikia.com. Security researchers should read our security.txt at /.well-known/security.txt.
